Services

  • Shell construction

We build the structural shell, from the foundation to the top-floor slab: walls, columns, slabs and stair flights. We work to the construction drawings and the structural design, and we raise questions before the pour, not after.

  • Masonry

Load-bearing and non-load-bearing masonry in sand-lime brick, clay brick, vertically perforated brick and concrete blocks. This includes internal walls, shafts, facing brickwork and infill masonry in existing buildings. We check dimensions and opening positions against the drawings before we start laying.

  • Concrete and reinforced concrete

Formwork, reinforcement, pouring: foundations, floor slabs, walls, slabs and beams. We pour to the exposure and strength class stated in the drawings and keep the delivery notes on file. Reinforcement is released for inspection before concreting.

  • Conversions and refurbishment in existing buildings

Existing buildings follow different rules from new builds. We open up walls, install lintels and trimmers, add new walls and reinstate load-bearing elements, coordinated with the structural engineer. Before we start, we look at what is actually there rather than trusting old drawings.

  • Openings, demolition and strip-out

Wall openings for doors, windows and services, plus sectional removal of non-load-bearing elements. Dust protection, temporary propping and debris disposal are part of the job. For load-bearing elements we obtain structural clearance first.

  • Subcontracting for general contractors

We take on defined structural work packages as a subcontractor and keep to the site management's construction schedule. Before the contract is signed we provide the documents you need for your vetting: the qualified clearance certificate from BG BAU, proof of our SOKA-BAU company account and the exemption certificate under section 48b of the German Income Tax Act.

Why us

  • Qualified clearance certificate from BG BAU

We are a member of BG BAU, the German statutory accident insurance institution for the construction industry, and we provide the qualified clearance certificate. That matters to you: if a subcontractor fails to pay its accident insurance contributions, the client is liable under section 150 (3) of the German Social Code VII. The certificate is the evidence that releases you from that liability.

  • SOKA-BAU company account

We hold a company account with SOKA-BAU, the German construction industry's holiday and wage equalisation fund, which makes us a collectively bound construction business under the BRTV-Bau agreement. In practice: registered construction workers with proper holiday entitlement, no bogus self-employment, and a site that stands up to a customs inspection.

  • Small firm, short lines

You speak to the managing director, not to a call centre. If something on site is not right, you get an answer the same day.

How we work together

  1. 1

    Enquiry and documents

Send us the bill of quantities, the drawings and the planned construction period – or call and tell us briefly what the job is.

  2. 2

    Site visit and quotation

We look at the site, clarify the open points and submit a quotation with quantities, unit prices and a construction period.

  3. 3

    Execution

We work to the drawings and the schedule, coordinate with your site management and report obstructions and design changes in writing as soon as they occur.

  4. 4

    Handover and invoicing

We hand the work over for acceptance, document it and invoice on the basis of the measured quantities.
