2. General

This website does not set any cookies that are not technically necessary. We do not use analytics or tracking services, advertising networks, social media plug-ins or external fonts loaded when the page opens. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.

3. Visiting the website and server log files

When you open this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and URL of the file retrieved
• volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
• browser type and version and the operating system
• the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

This data is needed to deliver the page, ensure the stability and security of the server and defend against attacks.

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically sound and secure operation of the website.

Retention period: Log data is deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless it is exceptionally required for longer to investigate a specific security incident.

4. Hosting

The website is hosted on servers in Germany. The hosting provider processes the data listed under section 3 exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

5. Contact form and enquiries

You can send us an enquiry via the contact form. In doing so we process the details you enter: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message. Name, email address and message are mandatory; without them we cannot answer your enquiry.

Delivery service provider: For the technical delivery of form messages to our mailbox we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Resend processes the form data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR together with supplementary safeguards.

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Retention period: We store your enquiry until it has been fully dealt with and no further questions are expected. If the enquiry leads to a contract, the commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively apply under section 257 of the German Commercial Code and section 147 of the German Fiscal Code. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after six months at the latest.

If you write to us by email or call us instead, we process the resulting data for the same purpose and within the same periods.

6. Disclosure of data

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to the processors named in this policy or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell data.
